Making an insurance claim is a confusing and often upsetting time for customers
whose properties are blighted by some form of problem.
No matter what type of problem you have experienced it is
our intention that you should find the restoration part of your claim as smooth as possible.
It is our aim to keep
you fully informed at all stages of your claim and if you have a problem, to resolve it as soon as possible. It is to everyone's
advantage to keep claims as easy and quick as possible. With that in mind, we thought a quick guide on how your claim journey
will proceed will be of help
- Instructions received from insurance
company and brief description of what the problem is given

will contact you by telephone or in writing to try to arrange mutually convenient dates and times for a visit by our surveyor
to establish the cause of the problem and best method of repair
- Once
the survey is completed, a report will be submitted to your insurance company within 48 hours to await their approval or,
if under a certain amount of money, we will proceed
- Once approval
is granted, we will write to you enclosing a mandate form for your signature and an invoice if there is an excess to be paid,
a specification of works to be carried out and a guide which lets you known what we need to do to enable the claim to proceed.
We hold programming meetings once a week and all claims approved with received cheques during that week will have a start
date generated
- We will then contact you with the week commencing
date and if you are happy with this, we will confirm the actual day for starting the week before
- Any changes to the date will be notified to you and any new start dates will be mutually agreed
- It s obviously your choice as to which colours, tiles, kitchens, etc,
